Why did you name your practice Torridon Counseling?

The Torridon mountains are located in the northwest corner of Scotland. They are rugged, beautiful, and one of my favorite places in the world. They are where I go, whether in person or in my head, when I need to find inner peace and serenity. They are a symbol of perseverance, of weathering the storms of life, and of strength. Just like the Torridon mountains are for me, I hope to be the source of those qualities for my clients. Life throws many challenges at us. Sometimes it can feel difficult to go on the journey to peace, resiliency, and health on our own. Let’s go on that journey together.
